Phoenix Saxophone Orchestra is proud to present a saxophone workshop with Gerard McChrystal
The workshop will focus on live ensemble playing, with tips and advice on sax technique, learning, performing and getting the most from your instrument as we go along.
We will be playing a selection of music, including pieces from our sponsor Saxtet Publications.
The music we’ll be focusing on is around Grade 4-5 standard, but individual parts will be sent out in advance, so there’s no need to worry about sight reading! Whatever the level of your playing, the opportunity to play with a large ensemble, learn from fellow musicians and receive first hand, expert advice from a professional saxophonist like Gerard is one not to be missed.
