Barrels come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but which one will be best for you? With so many to choose from, you can’t possibly try them all, but we can help you experiment and discover what makes a difference for you. The day is a mixture of discussions and practical testing of different designs and materials. It is an opportunity to discover through trial and error what happens when you change a dimension or material of a clarinet barrel. As well as experimenting with a variety of ready-made barrels, you will have the opportunity to design your own barrel, even make it yourself under supervision if you want.
