A weekend of music-making on our residential saxophone course in the heart of Scotland. Tutors: Mike Brogan and Catherine Evison
This saxophone course is a relaxed, informal way to explore new music and meet other like-minded players, under the expert guidance of our professional tutors. The focus of our weekend will be on ensemble playing, and you can expect to take part in a range of groups, from quintets, quartets, and trios, to full saxophone choirs.
Our extensive library of music and new arrangements covers a range of styles, including classical, rock, swing, latin, and more. Sessions will run throughout the day and into the evening, with time for workshops, musicianship training, improvising, and a wealth of technique tips, all delivered in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
All music will be provided – you just need to bring your saxophone(s), a music stand, and a pencil!.
